Results and Effort: Quote of The Day

Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can

Results and effort: Both required at Rich Man’s Gym

We earn results in proportion to the efforts we invest.  We get out what we put in.  Nevertheless,  we’re wiser to start with too little rather than too much.”  -Dan Millman – No Ordinary Moments, A Peaceful Warrior’s Guide To Daily Life.

So often we find ourselves waiting for the right time to take action.  The right time is now.  If it is time to get your body back, if it is time to strengthen your body and consequently your mind and spirit, you are better off doing something rather than nothing.  By you investing in your health and strength, you will see results outside of what looks back at you in the mirror.  The mirror will always look back, the question is, how do you want to be looked at?  Put your attention on doing something, on taking some action.

At Rich Man’s Gym, you need one piece of equipment and that’s you!  You’re body is the best gym you can have and the ultimate resistance tool for strength and conditioning.  You don’t need to go to the gym or buy the next buff in a hurry home gym.  What are you waiting for?

Your results will be earned.  You will need to stay focused on creating a result and not simply on the effort.  And it is the intensity of the effort and the focus behind it that will produce the result.  Today’s quote is about you doing something.  Any effort put forth will create a result.  You have to start sometime and you have to start somewhere.  The time to start is right now and the best place to start is right here.  If you wait for what you believe to be the perfect time, with the perfect piece of equipment and the perfect place, you will winding up waiting in some existential spiral of continued should I stay of should I go.

The time is now and the place is here.  Be a Peaceful Warrior today and train your mind and spirit through the training of your body, even if it’s just a little bit!

What will you do today to live as a warrior?
