The Rich Man’s Gym 20-Minute Workout
If for whatever reason, you need to keep it short, sweet, and simple while keeping it effective, this is it right here.
- 5 minutes of Jumping Jacks
- :30 seconds of “rest”
- 12 minutes Burpees
- :30 seconds of “rest”
- 2 minutes of Sit-Ups
So let’s break this 20-minute workout down. 5 minutes of Jumping Jacks. Start slow, pick up the pace, adjust the pace if you have to but basically, do 5 minutes of jumping jacks. This will be your warm up.
At the end of the 5 minutes of jumping jacks, I want you to give yourself as many burpees as you can muster. How many can you knock out in 12 minutes? Record this number because you’ll need to beat it next time you do this.
You’ve completed the burpees and now it’s how many sit-ups can you get done in 2 minutes? When you do the sit-ups while you’re still smoked from the burpees it will be harder than normal but keep going, keep pushing, don’t quit.
The Rich Man’s Gym 20-minute workout requires zero equipment and can literally be done anytime, anyplace, anywhere. You can do this in the garage, the back yard, your hotel room, at the park, or the beach. There are no excuses for this. Incorporate work:rest ratios based on your fitness levels. Do this workout daily if you really want to. It will also target every major muscle group, jack the heart rate and spike your metabolism.
