LiveGood Essential Aminos Product Review

(what’s in this stuff really?)

Before my buddy Scott turned me on to LiveGood I would easily spend $70-$80 dollars to get a good EAA supplement.  While it is true you get what you pay for and there is something to be said that quality costs, if you can get something of high quality at a great price too, it would be fiscally irresponsible to not at least consider it.

Now I’m getting my EAAs for for about a quarter of what I was paying and it tastes even better than what I was talking before.

I’ve officially switched over my “name brand” EAA supplement to LiveGood’s EAA supplement.  We’re going to spend some time today talking it all out.  I’m going to go over:

  • How much it costs?
  • What are the active ingredients ingredients?
  • What is the dosing?
  • When is the best time to take it?
  • The Benefits of EAAs
  • How does it compare to similar products?
  • And then you decide if you’d like to try it or yourself…

How much does LiveGood Essential Amino Acid Supplement Cost?

Regular Price is $29.95 for 30 servings.  That’s $.99 cents per serving.  The product I was taking charges $43.95 on their website for 30 servings.  That’s $1.20 a serving.  You’re saving $.21 cents a scoop right there.

Also, one serving of LiveGood EAAs has 7,802mg of EAAs.  The other guy has 5mg per serving.

ADDITIONALLY, when you become a member of the LiveGood Community, your cost for the EAAs drops to $19.95.  Ten bucks shaved and cost per serving drops to $.67 cents.

TRANSPARENCY ALERT!!!

LiveGood’s membership fee is $9.95 per month or $99.95 per year.  Quick Math…  Let’s say you join and take 2 servings per day and you do that all year.  $99.95 for the membership  + $39.90 x 12 = $478.80.

Total expense is $578.75 for your LiveGood EEAs.

If I go with the other guys and subscribe to their EAAs with a 15% discount it’s $67.96 per month which over a 12 month period is $815.52.

LiveGood is saving me $236.77 a year on EAAs.  And remember that’s nearly 8 grams a serving verses 5.  Some would call inflation an invisible tax on all Americans and if you’re feeling it right now, an extra $236.77 a year while getting good quality effective supplements is kind of a no brainer, wouldn’t you agree?

What are the active ingredients ingredients in LiveGood Essential Aminos?

There are 7,802mg of Essential Amino Acids.  As I mentioned earlier, the other guy has only 5000mg.  And the other guy is a proprietary blend of EAAs meaning they don’t disclose the breakdown of the ingredients.  One of the things I like best about LiveGood is they too have a proprietary blend BUT they disclose theirs so you know exactly what’s going into your body while getting more bang for your buck.

LiveGood Essential Aminos Ingredients Another highlight for me is that they electrolytes in their blend.  Not a large amount but enough I think to enhance the value of the product especially when you look at when you’re going to take your EAAs.  The other guy offers electrolytes at $23.95 for 30 servings.  See where I’m going with this…?

Best Time To Take LiveGood Essential Aminos

The best four times could be first thing in the morning, before, during and after a workout.

When you have an optimized ratio of ALL Essential Amino Acids, Branched-Chain Amino Acids, AND Electrolytes is supports muscle strength and function, helps maintain lean muscle mass, adds a boost stamina and recovery, and can promote healthy energy and focus.

This is why if you’re looking to looking to burn fat while maintaining muscle mass and stay in a fasted state or ketosis (if you’re doing keto) then EAAs in the morning is perfect.

Additionally, the sooner your body has nutrients to repair damaged muscle the better, which is why if you’re looking for a boost pre-workout, peri-workout and post-workout, EAAs are for you.

Personally, I’m taking a serving in the AM, plus start sipping two servings mid weight training session or two servings post cardio.  On hard and heavy weight training days if I feel I need to I’ll do one before bed as well.

Quick note about taste, this stuff is delish.  The other guy’s Lemon Lime is OK at the start but on my palate there is a definite aftertaste of decomp.  Literally.  So there’s that…  LOL.
